SSIS Error: The process cannot access the file '*.ispac'

Cause: During the development, we are not able to run our SSIS Package. This is because our previous SSIS execution is crashed. There is probability we have multiple instances for DtsDebugHost.exe is running it is blocking our SSIS Package execution.

Resolution: It is simple to resolve.  You need to kill DtsDebugHost.exe entries from the Task Manager. Before this ensure no other SSIS package is running. Following are resolution steps 

  • Open Task Manager
  • Switch to More Detail View and then select Details Tab.
  • Search for DtsDebugHost.exe entries and right click on the entries one by one and select End Process.

After this try to run your SSIS package one more time. Maybe it will resolve your issue.
