Cognos Data Manager Procedure Node

Cognos Data Manager Procedure Node is only available in Cognos Data Manager Job Stream. It is used to perform complex logic using Cognos Data Manager functions and User Define functions inside a Job Stream.

Follow below steps to add a Procedure node inside a Job Stream.

  • Right Click on Job Stream in which you want to add Procedure node and click on Insert Node and select Procedure Node.
  • Provide appropriate Business name and Description in General tab.
  • Click on Action tab, and type Delay(10).
  • No need to change Details Tab. For more details on Details Tab read this article.
  • Click on Successors tab and check all the check box which are going to execute after this Procedure node. If the SQL Node is last to execute do not check anything.
  • Click on Predecessors tab and check the check box which are going to execute before this Procedure node. If the Procedure Node is first to execute then check the check box in front of Start node.
  • Click on OK to save the changes.
