SQL Server DBCC Commands
Database Consistency Checker (DBCC) statements are database console commands and used for server monitor and maintenance.
Following are some DBCC commands are:
- DBCC INPUTBUFFER(SP_ID): Shows the last statement executed for a particular SPID. This statement is mostly used for troubleshooting purposes to determine the exact command a particular SPID is running.
- DBCC CHECKCONSTRAINTS(Table_Name): Shows all available check constraints in current database.
- DBCC SHRINKFILE (File,Percentage): Used to shrink database file.
- DBCC HELP(Command): Returns syntax information for the specified command. EX: DBCC HELP(CHECKDB).
- DBCC CHECKALLOC
- DBCC OPENTRAN
I am still working for listing all the available DBCC Commands in this post.
